Tuesday Ten (On a Wednesday)

I don’t know where Tuesday went. I just started to write this post and realized that it’s actually Wednesday.

1. I am not sure how my family is going to survive in this small southern town. Even though I grew up here, I left and really became the person that I am today. Our values and political opinions are almost opposite of the majority of the people residing in this county.

2. I am way sleepy today. I was up at 5:15 with Harper, then napped with him for about an hour. Despite the nap, I am so drowsy. I feel like I can not hold my eyes open. I am going to bed after Idol results.

3. I cut myself today. With scissors. What adult does that?

4. So I am addicted to games on Facebook. Yep. I’m nearly thirty and I am addicted to Mall World, Family Feud, YoVille, and Social City. It hasn’t reached the level of my 2003 addiction to The Sims. Let’s all be thankful for that.

5. Harper has been amazing today. He is standing on his own really well, but not walking. I think any day he is going to just take off!

6. I made one of my favorite meals tonight… Roast. What kind of roast, you ask? Well, some call it Pot Roast. In my world, it’s just roast.

7. I have been doing quite a bit of spontaneous, unexplainable crying lately. I do not know what that’s about, but I don’t like it.

8. GLEEEEEEEE! There are no other words. I am a complete Gleek.

9. My kids REALLY need new clothes. I do too, but I refuse to buy them until I lose weight. If that means I spend the summer in jeans, so be it. My kids, especially Harper, have got to have some summer clothes though!

10. I applied for my dream job this week. I don’t want to say much about it, but I’ll give more details after they make their selection. Fingers crossed!
