Monday Mix

Introducing a new weekly post, Monday Mix! Each Monday, I will give sort of a round-up of things I’ve bookmarked or loved in the week past.

This is the third bloggiversary (and last week of posting) for my other blog, Life. Love. Lipstick. So today started five days of giveaways! If you like free stuff, head over there today and enter to win a custom hair piece from Ensemble Pieces!

Kiel James Patrick‘s bracelets were first brought to my attention by Fred of Unabashedly Prep. I liked them, but never went to the site to see all the different styles. They are $35 and could easily be DIYed for a fraction of the price, but these are too fabulous to mess with! The combinations of patterned fabrics are perfect.

While some of them have really feminine details, I’d say the collection in general is unisex. KJP also has other bracelets, belts, and headbands. It’s a must-shop for sure.

I have been dying to make one of these washer necklaces for a long time, but no matter how many tutorials I found, they were just beyond my comprehension.

Then, I found this tutorial by The Small Object. It has finally clicked and I can’t wait to get some washers and give it a try!

DaddyGeek is my husband’s blog and I made a new header for it, hoping to get him to start blogging again. I think it’s working… sort of. Go check it out and leave comments. Maybe this way, he’ll be motivated.
