Losin’ It: Week 3

So.. I didn’t check in for week two. Basically, two things happened. For one thing, I completely failed at doing anything about my weight. I still stayed mostly within calories and even worked out a few times. However, I didn’t track all my meals on MyFitnessPal and didn’t weight myself even once. I kinda forgot I was even supposed to check in until I was working on some blog posts and saw the Week 2 post I had set up as a draft.

I was supposed to have this Week 3 update up on Tuesday. Well, life got in the way. I know, more excuses. Here I am, but without pictures. There’s a reason for that. I haven’t lost any more weight. In fact, I’ve gained. I am at 153 (according to our new bathroom scale). ugh. I am utterly disgusted with myself. The good news is, I’ve lost a couple of inches. I haven’t been measuring, but my pants don’t lie. I can now wear a few pairs of jeans and pants I wasn’t able to button 3 weeks ago.

Something has to change. Something major. I am so busy with work and on the weekends, I play catch up from everything I miss during the week. I think I just need a jumpstart to motivate me more. Maybe a cleanse? I’d like to try juicing, but I am not interested in spending upwards of $70 on a juicer. What have you tried that’s jumpstarted your weight loss?
