I only painted my nails one time this week because of some sad, sad news – I am without a functioning topcoat. You may remember when I blogged about Seche Vite vs. NYC topcoat. Turns out, the NYC also thickens and gets stringy halfway through the bottle. It still wins out though because it’s only $2 as opposed to $9-$10 for the SV. Anyway, I had to stop using it, so when I saw how cruddy my mani was this week without topcoat – it became the last one for the week. I have to get a new one this weekend. What’s your favorite $5 and under topcoat? I may just get NYC again.

Hi Rhonda, found you through the Nail Files link up.

Yeah Seche Vite dries and clumps pretty quickly too so I stopped using it. I like Sally Hansen’s Diamond Strength one but don’t remember how much it costs. Good luck!
