Sunday, my worst nightmare came true – I woke my iPhone to check for a text and all that came up on the screen was black and blue vertical lines. I gasped and tried to reboot my phone. No luck. Dustin Googled it and tried resetting my phone. That didn’t work either. I was screwed. And I was sad. I cried. A lot. We went to a Super Bowl party and was without a phone. I couldn’t post pics of my first beer pong experience to Instagram or send out drunk tweets. It was a low point in my life.
Dustin mentioned that he thought there was a place “the cell doctors or something” that repairs phones. I had never heard of it, but obvi took to Google to get some info. I happened upon Cellular Surgeon. I immediately liked what I saw on their website and sent a quote request. I had a moment of sticker shock over the $129 price of replacing my display. Then I logged onto my cell provider’s website to see how much it would cost me to just get a new phone. Um yeah… once the cost of starting a new contract was figured in, it was $400.
I hauled my ass from work in Biloxi to Cellular Surgeon in Gulfport on my lunch break yesterday. It took me 2 minutes to drop it off and pay the nice lady and Dustin picked it up less than an hour later. The phone looks brand new and works perfectly.
I seriously love this place. They have an active FB page, respond quickly to quote requests, and are super friendly. And y’all – they wear scrubs! How cute, right?
If you happen to live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, make sure you keep them in mind! You never know when you’ll need it!
On a related note, please tell me what shock-absorbent case you use. I think I need one!
(I was not paid for this review – I was just in serious need and they happened to be awesome.)

I love that they wear scrubs! LOL
Also you need an otter box lady. They are pricey but they guarantee your phone!

I am considering an OtterBox, but not loving what I’ve read in the reviews.
