The time has come once again, with a hair appointment approaching, to obsess over my hair.
Blonde for the first time in my life, keep it brunette, or go red again?
More importantly, chop it short or get a trim/shapeup and continue to grow it out?
I am certainly in need of a root job. However, I’m not crazy about this medium brown color I got last time. A new color is definitely in order. Chocolate, blonde, and auburn are all on the table. I think I know what I’m going to do, but it largely depends on what hair cut I get.
I had been coveting Chelsea Kane’s hair for the longest time, but I’ve sort of enjoyed growing it out this time. It’s just so… there. It’s barely at my shoulders and already, I’m falling victim to The Ponytail Rut. Once it gets mid-back, it’s very low-maintenance. I’m blessed to have natural waves that air dry beautifully when long. This place I’m at now though? It’s awful. I am getting my hair done soon and I’m intending to just go in and get a trim and a get some life back into it. I’m also probably getting a new color. Hopefully, that will make my hair more manageable as I get through this awkward stage.
Really though, you never know what I’m going to do when I get in that chair!

Auburn.
Grow it out.
DONE.
Seriously, I see that being your look

I hate that when my hair gets long enough I get stuck in the ponytail rut too. It’s so easy though… I love red hair so that’s my vote and I don’t even know you! I just know that RED HEADS not BLONDES have more fun and you look like a fun person. Good luck!
