I have to tell y’all, I don’t even feel bad about this confession. I can. not. wait. to get out of my house for an entire weekend on March 15! The best friend and I are doing our annual beach trip and while it’s not looking to be ideal beach weather this year, WHO CARES because …. FREEEEEDOOOOOOM!
I will miss my kids, sure. I’ll be excited to see them after 3 days away, but I will also enjoy that downtime. Day drinking, bar at night, staying up late and sleeping in, only worry about ME. That kind of vacation leaves me recharged and a better mother for it.
Do you enjoy your “selfish” time without guilt?

I’m absolutely getting better about enjoying my ‘me’ time. Its makes me a better mommy I think. Have fun!

Moms need time to refresh and renew themselves every once and awhile, no doubt. Enjoy your vacation! Embrace the peace! Relax… and yes, you will return renewed and ready to do an even finer job at your job as a mother!

I am so stoked for my trip to California because I get to jet away for a weekend to San Diego BY MYSELF. Woohoo!
Have fun!

NEVER going out without guilt. Two years ago I had to go to Munich for two days because of work and darn, did I feel bad. But I also enjoyed being out as an adult with other adults. No day-time drinking though, work and stuff…
