We are now just 10 days away (only 7 working days!) away from the BFF beach weekend. I am so excited that we can now stalk the forecast, since they can only predict up to 10 days away. So far, it’s high of 71 and sunny for our first day. That’s not super warm, but you can bet your ass we will be boozing in beach chairs.
I took the boys to our local salvage store last night and scored majorly. I got
- Essie Marshmallow polish
- L’Oreal Club Prive polish
- a white cardigan
- a pair of capri sweats
- a zip up Huskers jacket for the BFF
- Little People Ariel and Eric figures
- Little People Belle Prince Adam figures
- 3 juice box holders
- a sandwich crust cutter
… all for $34! Totally makes it worth digging. I once bought like 20 Larabars there for a total of $2.
Y’all, I got my first mark. order in awhile on Tuesday. It was like Christmas tearing open that box. And when I put on my mascaras this morning? It was like my birthday. I got two mascaras (I use them together), the amazing new Hot To Handle bag, Bare Hug lipstick, and my favorite moisturizer.
I also got a pair of sandals by accident (size 9, so they will do me no good). I am selling them for $20 shipped. They retail for $32, so this is a steal! Just email me if you want them and I’ll invoice you for them.

In other news, I did my own hair Sunday night. I colored it and cut long layers into the front. I am in love with my hair and completely obsessed. I’m rocking 3rd day hair today. Lovin’ it.

They are amazing! They buy overstock, stock from closed stores, stores that had fire damage or water damage, returns, etc. Just stuff stores can’t/won’t sell. Sometimes it’s in perfect condition (like most Target stuff! – they have a bunch of Missoni stuff right now for CHEAP) and sometimes there is slight damage or it’s factory seconds. I live for these places!
